"Un legame antico si rinnova nel viaggio in Veneto, the Land of Venice"

We had the privilege of organizing the prestigious "Regione Veneto” event at the the refined J Hotel, held on the 105th floor, offering a magnificent 180°degree view over Shanghai, aimed at showcasing the beauty of the region and encouraging Chinese visitors to explore it. The event featured several distinguished speakers, who highlighted the many unique attractions and experiences that Veneto has to offer.

The event was formally opened by H.E Massimo Ambrosetti, Ambassador of Italy to the People’s Republic of China, whose presence underlined the importance of strengthening the ties between Italy and China and was followed by a speech from Tiziana D'Angelo, Consul General of Italy in Shanghai.

This was followed by an inspiring address from Ivana Jelinic, Chief Executive Officer of the Italian National Tourist Board (ENIT), who emphasized the cultural and economic significance of Italy as a destination.

A series of presentations then brought the Veneto Region to life through evocative images, videos, and maps. Luca Caputo, President of the Verona and Lake Garda Foundation, introduced the wonders of Lake Garda, offering visitors a comprehensive overview of the area.

Valentina Colleselli, Director of the Belluno Dolomites Tourism Board, continued by highlighting the natural majesty of the Venetian mountains.

Maria Alessandra Montuori, Head of International Markets and Public Relations at the Cortina Tourism Board, followed with a dynamic video illustrating the wide range of activities available in Cortina and presenting the highly anticipated 2026 Winter Olympics.

The focus then shifted to connectivity, with Delia Dell’Asia, Route and Network Manager of SAVE Group, outlining Venice Airport’s medium and long route strategy for 2025.

To conclude the institutional segment, Antonella Cuniglio, Business Manager of the Arena di Verona Foundation, delivered a captivating presentation on the history, cultural significance, and unique features of the Arena di Verona an iconic monument that continues to represent Italy’s operatic tradition worldwide.

The evening reached its artistic peak with performances by three distinguished artists from the Arena di Verona: Maria Teresa Leva (Soprano), Paolo Lardizzone (Tenor), and Federico Brunello (Piano Accompanist).

Their extraordinary voices, accompanied by the refined tones of a Fazioli piano, filled the venue with an atmosphere of pure emotion an unforgettable finale celebrating the enduring cultural bond between Italy and China.

The celebration then transitioned into a convivial gathering, where guests enjoyed Venetian-inspired delicacies, regional specialties and a curated selection of Italian wines, creating the perfect setting for networking and exchange.
